Actinic keratoses are rough scaly, red patches that arise on sun exposed skin. They are one of the most common conditions diagnoses by dermatologists. A small percentage of them may become cancerous. Treatment can include creams, gels, solutions, cryosurgery or photodynamic therapy. The physicians and PAs at Cary Dermatology can diagnosis the problem and offer you treatment options.
