Meet our newest physician's assistant
Colleen Andrijiw, PA-C
Ms. Colleen Andrijiw is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant, a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and is board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, minor in Biology, and received her Master’s degree in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant Certification from the Duke University School of Medicine.
Colleen has been practicing as a Physician Assistant for 15 years, starting in family and internal medicine, urology, and then pursuing dermatology. She has been a Dermatology Physician Assistant at the Durham VA Medical Center for more than four years where she worked closely with Duke Dermatologists and Dermatology Residents providing all aspects of dermatologic medical and surgical care to our Veterans.
Colleen is interested in the diagnosis and treatment of skin disease and skin care for all ages. She believes in providing patients with education based on the latest medical evidence and also believes in collaborating with her patients to make treatment decisions based on the condition and patient needs.
Colleen lives in Cary with her husband Steve who is a local beekeeper. She enjoys most anything outdoors especially if it involves mountains and hiking.
