Botox Cosmetic/Xeomin /Dysport
Botox Cosmetic, Xeomin and Dysport are all made from the same active ingredient, botulinum toxin type A, and are used to relax specific muscles that cause wrinkles. These products are primarily used in the upper face to improve wrinkles associated with frowning, forehead lines, and lines at the corners of the eyes known as crow’s feet. They can also be used in the lower face to improve wrinkles around the lips and corners of the mouth.
Xeomin is the newest of these products and is composed of pure botulinum toxin. Botox Cosmetic and Dysport both have inactive ingredients in addition to botulinum toxin. All of these products produce results that last up to 4 months.
