Dear Patients and Families,
As concerns within our community regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) are rising, we would like to inform you that our team at Cary Dermatology is working diligently to keep our patients safe.
Wake County has issued a Stay at Home order. All non emergent medical visits should be postponed until the order is lifted.
Please note the following updates from our practice:
We are now offering Telehealth Visits. A Telehealth visit is a virtual appointment from your home. This can be done by IPhone, IPad or Computer with audio and video capabilities. If your visit can be done virtually we will convert your visit to a televisit. To schedule a televisit you can text us at +19193736648 or call the office at (919) 467-8556. If you need to be seen in the office, our providers are seeing urgent problems on a limited schedule.
Conditions that we can treat via Telehealth visit include:
Acne
Rosacea
Rashes and contact dermatitis
Psoriasis
Hives
Hair and Nail Disorders
Surgery follow ups, wound exams
Bug bites
Infection concerns
Changing skin lesions
We are unable to perform a total cutaneous exam but may be able to discuss specific concerns.
If you do need to come to the office, know that we are following all CDC guidelines to keep you safe. You will have your temperature taken before you enter the clinic and we ask that you do not bring people with you unless they are needed to help you with mobility. Iif you have traveled in the past 14 days or have been in contact with a known or potential COVID-19 positive patient please reschedule for a later date.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation in helping us keep all our patients and staff well.
