If you're finding yourself attending more family events and spending time with relatives over the holidays, it could be a great opportunity to find out about your family skin history. Each year, 2 million cases of skin cancer are diagnosed, and the number is increasing. Those with family history have an increased risk for skin cancer. We recommend full skin exams for those individuals with personal or family history of skin cancers. Enjoy the holidays and get checked!
